Charge of Tomorrow

A refreshing drink that will give you a boost of vitamins and energy for your day ahead.

Ingredients (for 2 servings)

  • 150 g fresh or frozen strawberries

  • 100 g raspberries (can be replaced with blueberries or blackberries)

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 200 ml natural yogurt or kefir

  • 100 ml almond (or regular) milk

  • 1-2 tbsp honey or agave syrup (to taste)

  • ice optional (a few cubes for a thicker texture)

  • a few leaves of fresh mint - for decoration and aroma

Cooking steps

  1. Preparing berries

    • If the berries are fresh, wash them well and let the water drain.

    • If frozen, take them out of the freezer for 5-10 minutes beforehand to let them settle a little.

  2. Blender assembly

    • Place banana, berries, yogurt (or kefir) and milk in a blender.

    • Add honey and 2-3 ice cubes.

  3. Mixing

    • Beat on high speed for 30-45 seconds until smooth.

    • Evaluate the consistency: if you want it thicker, add more ice or banana; if you want it thinner, add a little milk.

  4. Innings

    • Pour the smoothie into tall glasses.

    • Decorate the top with mint leaves or a few berries.

    • Serve immediately - the drink is most aromatic and fresh.


Tips for future experiments

  • Superfood boost : Add 1 tsp chia seeds or flaxseeds for added benefits and thick texture.

  • Sweet and sour balance : add a little lemon juice if the berries are too sweet.

  • Lactose-free : Replace yogurt entirely with plant-based (coconut or oat).

  • Berry change : combine seasonal berries - raspberries + currants, blueberries + blackberries, come up with your own mixes.
